Royal Dutch Bakery in Grandville

I have been coming here since I was a little girl with my grandmother. The smells, the taste, and the look are classic and perfect.

I enjoy the baked goods and appreciate that the bakery is nearby. Everyone who has ever served me has been pleasant. It was with dismay that I discovered during my most recent visit that no employee was wearing a mask. My trips to Steenstra’s are in the past, but maybe my waistline, and respiratory health, will be better for it.

They made me a cake on the spot even though they ask for a days notice, was very friendly and clean.

I ordered a birthday cake the day before my mom's birthday, and they were able to do it customized with only about a 24 hour turn around time. I requested white cake, Dutch cream filling, floral design in pink and aqua. It turned out even more beautiful than I could have imagined. Plus, it tasted great!

Very good authentic Dutch bakery with excellent price and value. Clean atmosphere and friendly staff. Never much of a wait. Large selection to choose from everyday from donuts, rolls, cakes, pasteries and many Dutch treats you cant find anywhere else. A local treat and a historical treasure. A must visit while in grandville.

Royal Dutch Bakery is awesome! They did a personalized cake for a birthday when all other bakeries I had reached out to said they would not be able to meet my deadline! The cake is amazing! Shout out to Tori (I hope I spelled it correctly) for helping me!

This is an awesome bakery, yum! I bought 2 loaves of almond, fruit bread. 1 to make good friends smile, and 1 to make me smile. Young lady who helped me was fun

My family loves their bread, roll, hot dog & hamburg buns. Doesn't matter what you buy in this bakery everything is delicious. Super friendly staff.

As a customer, I have the choice or not, but the people preparing and serving your food are NOT wearing masks. I refuse to give my money to a company where they have no regard for the health and safety of their customers!

Great staff and great service

One of our favorite local bakeries. They do everything well.

Their bakes were good but I was disappointed by the lack of effort in keeping a sanitary environment. I saw no staff in the front of back with any masks. We wont be going back until there is a vaccine/more testing testing, or more precautionary measures are adopted.

This is my absolute favorite bakery! They have a good assortment of donuts, cookies (big & small) and delicious breads. I highly reccomend the almond fruit loaf, the pecan roll and the Bread End dinner rolls!!

Great bakery

The Pumpkin pie and the bread ends rolls were a hit. I also had a Orange Pineapple muffin that was fantastic. Nice friendly staff also!

The staff here does NOT wear masks-which is concerning in this Covid19 Pandemic. Otherwise excellent bakery.

They're donuts were really good last couple times I got them. But sometimes some of their baked goods aren't always very fresh. So WATCH OUT!!!!!! Just a friendly reminder 👍😁❤

Great Bread in a great family own business. We get our bread only from them and can tell the difference from any other bread we had before.Great Bakery!

Hometown favorite. Decent prices for some delicious treats. Their decorated cookies are adorable and their fat balls are to die for. Loaves of bread, rolls, and buns are always fresh, soft, and delicious. The windmill cookies are my all time favorite, but the pecan roll is a close runner up.

The best doughnuts, cookies hands down! Love their day old section . Have been going here since I was a little kid.

There bread is the best

This is the best bakery in all of West Michigan. To all the people who are saying they don’t appreciate and care about their customers and community — you are all dead wrong. The Steenstra family has been and will continue to be one of the most authentic, caring, and respectful families in the West Michigan area. They have my support.

This bakery will fulfill your wishes for delectable pastries & some of the best bread available anywhere. Sweets like apple cinnamon bread for a reasonable price (not $6. like some bakeries), cinnamon rolls with or without raisins, molasses cookies close to what my grandma made. Also, on Wednesday their pantry bread (think homemade) is $1.00. Stop in & try not to eat it on the way home.

This is an amazing bakery! They have all of your traditional donuts and baked goods. Personally, I’m a big fan of their apple fritters, sticky buns, and cinnamon rolls, and bread loafs. But everything, from their cookies to their cannolis, are outstanding. You won’t be disappointed.

I love this Bakery! The pecan rolls are so good. All of the baked goods are wonderful. They have donuts and cookies and cakes and pies and more. The cream that they use and there cream curls is absolutely perfect. The staff is always friendly and always so patient while you try to decide what wonderful thing you're going to buy.

I wish it hadn't taken me so long to stop into this gem. Do yourself a favor, stop buying your bread at a grocery store and buy it here instead. Their English muffin bread is fantastic!

One of their beautiful sugar cookies and a cup of fresh coffee is a highlight of my day!
